Veterans Strengthening America
American Legion Post 144 is a pillar of the Miami Lakes community — a gathering place for veterans, active service members, and their families. Founded in 1947 on the enduring principles of the American Legion, we carry forward a mission of service that extends well beyond our post walls.
From advocating for veterans’ rights to supporting our youth through education and leadership programs, Post 144 stands as a testament to the men and women who answered the call — and continue to serve long after their uniform is retired.
